Oct. 1-2: First Friday Fun & Stella's Boutique

Fri. 10/1, 6-10pm - Stella's Boutique open longer hours at Starving Art/E.A.T. for First Friday. Starving Art's main gallery hosts Mr. Matthew "Matt" Winters, with murals and drawings of candy and cats and these and thats. The Blue Starlite Drive-In will be showing an encore presentation of "Der Golem" with musical score from Black Francis of the Pixies - an exclusive world premiere event!

Sat. 10/2, 12-9pm - Stella's will be open at Starving Art/E.A.T. all day. Come shop & check out the trailer food eatery! The Drive-In will be showing "Dirty Harry" at 8pm.

Sept. 24-25: Stella's Boutique open Fri & Sat!

Fri. 9/24, 6:30-9pm - Stella's Boutique is open at Starving Art/E.A.T. & The Blue Starlite Drive-In will be showing "Star Wars" at 8:30pm.

Sat. 9/25, 12-9pm - Stella's will be open at Starving Art/E.A.T. all day. Come shop & check out the trailer food eatery! The Drive-In will be closed for a private party.

Sept. 17 - 18: Whole Foods Bday Bash & the Drive-In

Fri. 9/17, 6:30-9:30pm - Stella's Boutique is open at Starving Art & their drive-In theater will be showing "The Angry Red Planet" at 8:30pm.

Sat. 9/18, 12-3pm - Come out to Whole Foods on 6th & Lamar for their 30th Birthday Bash! We'll be there doing an awesome rubber stamp carving demo. Learn to make your own unique stamps & craft a cool magnet to take home!

Sat. 9/18, 12-9pm - Stella's will be open at Starving Art all day, even while we're partying at Whole Foods. Come shop, check out the trailer food eatery & watch "Harry and The Hendersons" at the drive-in! Movie starts at 8:30pm.

Sept. 10 - 11: Picture Perfect & the Drive-In

What are we up to this weekend?

Fri, 9/10, 6-8pm
- We'll be at the Harry Ransom Center for A Picture Perfect Evening. We'll be making magnets and buttons combining the interesting variety of images on display. You could even include a picture of yourself from the photo booth!
Stella's Boutique at Starving Art will be closed Friday night.

Sat, 9/11, 4-9pm
- Stella's is open at Starving Art & their Drive-In theater will be showing "Bad News Bears" at 8:30pm. Come by to shop, eat & see a classic flick!

Stella's is now closed on Sundays.

Sept. 2-4: First Thurs, First Fri & the Drive-In

Here's where you can find us this weekend:

Thurs, 9/2, 5-10pm - Beth A & Beth H will be out on South Congress with a selection of Stella's boutique merchandise for First Thursday. Look for us in the St. Vincent de Paul lot.

Fri, 9/3, 12-10pm - First Friday all day long at Starving Art/EAT. Stella's (our Airstream trailer boutique) will be open from noon 'til late. Check out “Black Francis’s GOLEM,” a Starving Art world premiere art and film event in collaboration with Alamo Drafthouse Rolling Roadshow! And of course there will be tons of tasty food on hand in the trailer park eatery.

Sat, 9/4, 12-9pm
- Stella's is open all day again & Starving Art's Drive-In theater will be showing "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" at 8:30pm. Come by & shop before the show!

Stella's is now closed on Sundays.

Don't miss Cherrywood Art Fair this weekend!


The handmade holiday fun continues this weekend at the Cherrywood Art Fair! We'll be out there with a smorgasbord of fabulous handmade items & crafting kits. Over at The WonderCraft booth (just look for Stella, our shiny Airstream trailer!), we'll also be demonstrating lots of cool upcycled gift-wrapping techniques throughout the weekend.

Cherrywood is an amazing shopping paradise for those who love unique, handmade items & one-of-a-kind art - over 80 vendors! Here's a peek at a few.
